ABOUT AMANDA — JOYFIT™ FOUNDER

 

Hi, I’m Amanda Friedrichs.

Founder of JoyFit™, certified fitness coach, licensed massage therapist, fire wife, boy mom, and a woman who believes strength should feel empowering — not intimidating.

 

I created JoyFit because I know exactly what it’s like to walk into the gym and feel overwhelmed, confused, or unsure where to start. After years of training, learning, filming tutorials, and building routines between mom duties and fire-wife life, I realized something:

 

Fitness should feel joyful, confident, and doable — even in the busiest seasons.

 

My Story

I’ve always loved movement, discipline, and the confidence that grows from strength training. But I’ve also lived the real-life version of fitness:

 

- juggling kids

- supporting my husband’s fire schedule

- late-night editing and trying to stay on top of my own workouts

- trying to make health a priority in real-world chaos

 

Through it all, I created a system that truly works — one that’s structured, effective, and realistic for everyday women.

 

JoyFit was born from that passion.

A Little About My Heart

I’m a wife to my amazing firefighter husband, Justin, and a mom to two energetic boys who keep me laughing, grounded, and inspired. My Creator, God, and my family is my “why,” and the reason I pour so much into this brand.

 

I want my boys to grow up knowing their mom chased her dreams — and helped others chase theirs too.

JoyFit Mission Statement

At JoyFit, my approach to personal training is rooted in safety, longevity, and purposeful movement. I emphasize proper posture, form, and efficient body mechanics to help you train smarter, not just harder. Through breath awareness and body-mind connection, I teach you how to use your breath to enhance performance, stability, and recovery. Each program is progressive and tailored to your current skill level, unique goals, and any muscle imbalances that need attention. I also offer professional sports massage and assisted stretching add-ons to support optimal recovery and long-term results. My mission is to help you build strength, confidence, and lasting health—one mindful, well-executed movement at a time.
